Tapeswitch At W16
The Tapeswitch team are excited to be attending W16 for the first time as an exhibitor. This year’s event promises to be the biggest and best event yet.
Our Love for Woodworking
At Tapeswitch we’ve been active in the furniture manufacturing sector for many years and our portfolio of products ensures peace of mind when it comes to health and safety in your operations. We’re enjoying seeing the growth in wooden furniture and timber building across the country as well as out into Europe, so there’s no better time to showcase our expertise. At W16 it’s great to demonstrate what our own portfolio of products can do, but it’s also interesting to get around and see the ground breaking developments coming from this sector.
Our Expert Team
Gary Davies and the rest of the team will be on hand at stand number R405 to answer your questions and tell you more about the Tapeswitch product range. Gary brings over 25 years of experience in electrical engineering and has been helping solve problems for woodworking companies throughout that time. A selection of the products will be on display on the day, including:
Light Curtains – perfect for CNC machinery and perimeter guarding.
Safety & Switching Mats – heavy duty and perfect for all types of manufacturing production areas.
Sensing Bumpers – pressure sensitive normally open switches which provide contact closure on impact.
The Tapeswitch company has been operating in the UK for a number of years now, but the origins of our birth stem back through to the US in 1959. Robert Koenig and his wife Sondra, brilliant engineers, invented the ribbon switch that for years has been the backbone of the company. These days our portfolio has grown to include a wide range of bespoke products perfect for many industrial environments. Included in the range are safety mats which we have a track record of retrofitting to CNC woodworking machines across the UK.
